Adding Output Plugins into Ableton MOVEMENT and PORTAL and THERMAL are effects plugins - not a software instrument like most other Output products. Install your Output plugin from the Splice desktop client and restart your machine. To get your Output plugin up and running in Ableton you need to check Ableton's AU/VST settings.

Rescanning plug-ins (Windows & macOS)

Ableton Vst Plugins

Please be sure Ableton has activated the button for 'Use VST Plug-in System Folder' and 'Use VST Plug-in Custom Folder' if you have one.

Then hold down the ALT key and click RESCAN (Preferences - File Folder - And Hit 'Rescan' by pressing also the ALT key while clicking).

Why my bounced files are muted?

Check if the input monitoring is deactivated on your audio tracks that are using Neural DSP plug-ins in their slots.

If the input monitoring is enabled, your bounced files will be muted after the render.
