Can Vienna Ensemble Host Vst Plugins
I have the latest version of Vienna Ensemble 5 and it will not list any VSTi plugins. I have the correct VST Plugins folder 'C: Program Files VSTPlugins' set and when it scans for plugins everything looks fine. I see each plugin being tested and there are no errors. But when it is finished, only the effects are listed in the tree. +1 to what Jay said. But I remember that IF you remove the older version, the newer Kontakt will open the older instances automatically. IF I were to try this, I would simply move K5 out of the plugins folder ( I use a folder called 'unused vst' ) then reboot, launch app and load up the old Vepro session, save as a new doc. THEN maybe put K5 back into your vst plugins folder. All the sudden all the plugins I load in my template in the 64 bit host version of VEP do not load anymore (Alchemy, Omnisphere, Stylus, Kontakt, Play etc). It says it can't find them. I have absolutely no idea why. I haven't changed anything or moved anything. This has happened to me with a couple plugins in the 32 bit host as well.
