The V-Machine has banks, presets and channels. In each bank you run presets and within one preset you can have up to four channels and up to two fx channels. What are Wizard Files?
Many VST plugins only require a VST format .dll file as our Plug-ins. This is fine for many installations. Other plugins are much more detailed and require additional supporting files such as samples, Windows registry entries, preset files, etc.
The VFX Application only knows how to install these more detailed plugins via a plugin information wizard file (vfxinfo.txt). Each plugin information wizard file provides information to the V-Machine such as what files to transfer during synchronization to the V-Machine.

On the V-Machine select the bank/preset you want to delete. Press both menu buttons to enter menu, then scroll to the right until you see Menu: Delete then press the right hand SAVE button to change the second line on the LCD to 'Bank'. If this is what you want to do, then press the button next to the word delete on the V-Machine screen. Pressing the button next to the word BACK on the screen will exit back to the bank leaving it unchanged.

Press both menu buttons to enter the menu. Press the right hand MENU button until you see 'menu: delete plugin' the plugin that will be deleted will be named below on the second line of the LCD. You can scroll through the plugins to delete with the left and right SAVE buttons.
When your on the plugin you wish to delete, press the LEARN button next to delete and the plugin will be deleted. Pressing the button next to BACK will exit without deleting any plugins.
Overture as well as other Host programs need to know where your plugins are located. Most applications that install plugins, put them in C:Program FilesVSTPlugins folder. I suggest the same.If this folder did not exist before or Oveture could not find any plugins, you need to do two things.
1. Open preferences and go to the Playback section and select use Audio Engine. It may have been turned off when no plugins were found.
2. Tell Overture where the plugins are located. Use VST->Set Folder menu command to set the folder. In this dialog be sure the Folder Name at the Top of the Dialog says VSTPlugins. Now exit Overture.
Run Overture and you will see the Initializing Audio Engine dialog and then Scanning Plugins message. Depending on the amount of plugins and which plugins you have, this may take a while the first time. After the dialog closes you are ready to go.
All your plugins, including effects must be in the same folder.
You can use any other folder but this is the most common and will cause you the least amount of problems.
Note: If you are a Garritan Personal Orchestra user, you will need to do a couple of things to get started, if you don't have a current VST hosting application. First, create a VST plugin folder. Again, we recommend creating the folder at C:Program FilesVSTPlugins.
